Born from the idea that a soldier could resupply behind enemy lines and that operators could leave a smaller footprint to conceal their presence, the SR-47 combines the familiar M4/M16 with the legendary 7.62x39mm cartridge used by the AK-47. The SR-47 was designed to allow operators to use ammunition acquired in the field from the enemy in situations where resupply was not an option. Furthermore, the SR-47 has the added advantage of resembling a typical AK-47 rather than an M16, which helped to mask the operator's presence and maintain secrecy by leaving no evidence such as NATO shell casings.
BOLT Airsoft's interpretation of the SR-47 includes its Bolt Recoil Shock System (BRSS) to create simulated recoil for enhanced realism. In addition to the recoil system, BOLT has also significantly reinforced the gearbox and other internal components to withstand the powerful recoil shock and improve the rifle's durability and performance. Externally, the rifle features a CNC-machined KeyMod aluminum tactical handguard with rails, an aluminum alloy upper and lower receiver, and all the familiar features of a traditional M4/M16 weapon platform.
